Actually the System built for West End Starwars actually was pushed as a
generic system. They called it the D6 system. Men in Black and a few other
games used it. Of course West End also had the Master lock( I think that
was the name of the system). Which they used for a whole slew of games(Tank
Girl, Species, and of course the totally Awesome Shatterzone).
Honestly I never like West Ends system. I always thought that character
Generation was really weak. It always seemed like they really wanted you to
use there Archtypes, and not to come up with unique characters. IMHO. That
and some of the later books took a lot of liberties with the expanded
universe.
