Yeah I got that impression also, but it's not really that hard to make 
unique characters. I've heard that the new d20 system lets you come up with 
more unique characters. I think that's a good thing, cos something I hated 
about AD&D was the way everyone was always the same and you never really 
got much better. I think this is getting off topic now though, so we should 
probably stop talking about it or move it to some other list that I am 
unaware of ;-)
