Greetings,
Let me introduce myself. I am Tanya (I've been lurking for about a month now).
One of my local groups play DL and HOE alternately. We are currently in HOE.
There are two of us women in one group and three (the same two and an
additional) in the other.
I LOVE the doomsayers. I think the templars are neat. I like the road
warriors too. I have done all three and went back for seconds on the
doomsayer - by the grace of the marshal doing a doomsayer/librarian (and you
will never know how much math went into that combo - I'll take calc over that
character creation any day).
I am not the current marshal, but I have marshalled at conventions.
I tend to be the one who tries to overthink and avoid fights (except when I
played my road warrior - she just ran things over with her great big
landrover). My best friend, on the other hand, tends to shoot first and ask
questions later. She is very lucky with the dice rolls, so basically she
always tends to kick butt. The third woman, who hasn't played HOE as much as
she has DL, plays with more of a mischievous edge to her character - she tends
to start the trouble and sit back and watch (in most cases).
So, no stereotyping in this group. ;)
Thanks and Cheers,
Tanya
