Re: [HOE] Rules on self-propelled means of transportation

My posse had a kid who skated around on a some scavenged inline skates and attacked witha  bladed hockey stick. We gave her a new aptitude Sk8in'. with wheels strapped on the feet we doubled her pace; when the terrain was fairly smooth that is. We'd make rolls depending what she was trying to skate on. We kind of make it up as we went but here's a few basics of what we did. the streets of Junkyard or any other fairly intact settlment would need no roll, roads and cruined cities were pretty easy just make a slight modifier for the rubble, but skating out in the desert or rocky mountains, would be considerably harder. Be sure to make rolls if the skater is hit to see if they fall down and roll if they try a stunt, like jumping off a make-shift ramp, or kicking someone with a skate, or any other cool skating tricks/stunts whose terms I am not familiar with.

Note: I personally cannot skate (roller, inline, or board), cannot ski, cannot unicycle, and a fianally learned tp ride a bike when I was 14.

Hello HOE'rs

New to the list, I was wondering if there were accepted rules were certain types of transportation would be added to the skills.  I don't mean driving vehicles that require fossil fuels, ghost rock, or other outside sources of fuel.  What I am talking about are things like bicycles, inline skates, skis, even skateboards.  Would this be a drivin' skill or under another heading.  I guess Ridin' would be for bikes, but would skates be a seperate skill.
Any help would be appreciated.
