Re: [HOE] Mad science and the last war(long)genetics

You can, sort of. This was done before the war to allow ghost rock ractors
to provide mundane elecrticiity. IN more recent time a junker can pull this
trick off with the GENERATOR power. However both these methods do not use
pure G-rays to power mundane items and both have their problems.
pre-war ghost rock and junker built ghost rock reactors require specialized
arcane shielding to repvent death and mutation similiar to a ghost rock bomb
as the continous outpouring of non-real energies cause "unpleaseant" side
effects.
JUnker generators merely use G-rasy along with the tenous link provided by
the spriit of a dead toaster to operate a basic electricity creating devices
similiar to a steam turbine.
In none of the three case can the G-rays be substituted for real electrical
activity simply because as I've pointed out they do NOT have the same
properites as a real power source. So trying to power real technology with
spirit tech methods is usually innefficient unlesss you have acess to
classified pre-war Hellstromme equipment.

I forget the exact way electricity is produced but I beleive it has
something to with exciting electrons and then controlling their course to
cause all kinds of other wonderful atomic reactions which eventually get
filtered out to us as the conveniences of modern society.
