My solution is different,

   I'd let all the AB's function EXCEPT... 

   Sykers would have a much reduced strain (Reduce their vigor)

   Doomies would need to roll regular vigor checks vs mutation (Children's
bodies are more succeptible to radiation damage) and reduced strain.  

    Templars, I'd leave them untouched.
