Re: [HOE] Saints

Well, my justification for Mr. T was that he served not to fight vampires
and wendigos and other sorts of mean, nasty things, but he fought the
Reckoners in a more preventative way. He tried to show people how to live
better through respecting themselves and others. He fought against the
degradation of society through the selfishness and internal predation of
humanity. Sure, Mother Theresa did the same thing, but the truth of it is
that, while she was also a celebrity, Mr. T was a BIGGER celebrity. After
all, Mother Theresa may have been an important figure among the religious,
but religious or not, there's just something extra-appealing (and
proportionately influential) about a man who wears enough gold chains to
choke a zeuglodon. T fought, as much as he could, urban despair. As such,
through his deeds and his force of character he became a Templar Saint,
tossing in just a BIT of what people remember him for as well as what he
did.
