Chain Brain (Syk)
Type: Evocation
Level: 1
Components: S
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Target: Several living creatures (each must be within range
  of syker)
Duration: See text
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
Chain brain strings a bunch of minds together and slaps
them silly. It's not particularly dangerous, but don't tell
the victims that. Sykers use it to stun guards or race
through a room of losers they don't have time to kill.
Chain brain may affect up to 1d8 total HD of creatures,
plus 1 HD per syker level (up to a maximum total HD of 12).
Any targeted creature failing its saving throw is stunned
for 1d3 rounds. A stunned creature cannot act and loses any
Dexterity bonus to AC. Attackers gain +2 bonuses to attack
it. Should any creature in the chain be immune to this power
or succeed in a saving throw, the spell is stopped and
cannot continue on to other targets, no matter the number of
HD remaining.
All creatures with 5 or more HD are immune to chain brain,
as well as creatures with animal minds and the walkin'
dead. Chain brain does work with Harrowed minds, unless the
manitou has Dominion.
Note: Extra hit points are irrelevant for determining how
many HD a creature has. For example, a wormling with 4d8+4
hit points still has only 4 HD and may be affected by the
spell.
