I think they can have faith, but Last Crusaders specifically mentions 
that Blessed are only allowed as companions... I don't think most 
Templars would really fit with the restrictions on the Blessed, as they 
actively assault those who are evildoers, and most blsessed have that 
'Thou shalt not kill' thingy.
