Well, my main theory on its use is that it would be good for figuring out
tactics. For instance, given the information you currently have, where would
be the best place to hit the enemy? Also, I agree that it would be useful
for identifying military hardware and for knowing where installations were,
with secret locations perhaps coming with higher levels. Salvage ahoy!
