Well, if we want to get all physics-geeky, not only do you have the kinetic energy equal to MV2/2, but you also have to factor in drag, which is a major determinant in the magnitude of ballistic injury. Drag = 1/2 ((CD) (d) (A) (V2)), where CD is the proportionality of drag, d is the densityof the target medium, A is the projectile's cross-section, and V is its velocity. Stabilization and yaw are also factors--a bullet that is yawing around its line of flight will tunble when it hits a body and cause horrific damage.
Bottom line--just use the stats for the wrist-breaker cyborg pistol.
