Re: [HOE] Various Implements of Hurting Things

Not that I'm an authority, but you did ask....

After looking at the list, I'd say most of the thrown stuff would rate
1D4+STR, the pool stick, tennis racket, broomstick, etc would be something
like a small club, while the others (baseball bat) treated as large clubs.
I wouldn't give bonuses for Fightin': bat by the way. Sharp things should
do a little bit more damage, or minor damage and more Wind loss (ie: broken
bottle could do 1D4+STR+2 Windloss). As for the armour stuff, make it light
armour with the max being -4 or -6 in that area. I mean, yeah, a football
helmet would probably hold its own against a thrown baseball, and more
likely a baseball bat, but it hit with sufficient strength, the owner is
going to feel it. The only thing I'd add to this is if a frying pan is used
defensively, it should provide a AV of say, 4, and that is only if it is
cast iron.

Now that I think of it, maybe some of the club types could have a Fightin':
(blank) to provide a defensive value.
