I just picked up a copy of the new edition of Octi

The game is played with a smaller board (6x7) and a
somewhat simpler rule set, and I think would play well
by email.

Yes, I think OfK would play well by email, and I'd be interested in seeing it.

I have a pretty decent AI for OfK, and I would set
it up to play on the server if the game were added.
I'd be happy to share with you my code for representing
boards and moves, although it's all in C.
