Indeed, you are correct.  -tootris is "on"

But you're also right in that this isn't indicated on the display anywhere.
A quick look at the code indicates that if tootris is not enabled, you'd
see how many pieces you have left, but that's mighty mightly subtle.

I (or one of the other coders) will look into this.

In the meanwhile, you might request an "undo" from your opponent.
