Alternatively, you could use the -nostrict option at the challenge command.
Words wouldn't be rejected, but the players would be informed if a played
word doesn't appear in the dictionary. Presumably, if your opponent thinks
the word should be allowed, s/he can let you keep it. Otherwide, s/he could
request that you undo the move. Personally, I prefer to stick with the
default strict option -- as much as it annoys me sometimes...
