Okay I cannot count.  Of course the previous round was
two games/opponent.  Please ignore that part of my
previous diatribe.

The questions I need feedback on then are:

1) One "final" round of four or a semifinal round of
eight (two pools).

2) Verify that you're still interested period.

I'll make sure the pools are set up two
games/opponent, 7 day per move limit.

1) I opt for one final round of four players.

 

2) I (rgsnatzke) am still interested.

 

Two further remarks:

 

A: I consider Amazons to be significantly favorable to the first player. Two games per opponent are therefore pretty much necessary.

 

B: I am less than enthusiastic about the tie-break rules. Looking at the previous rounds doesn't look very fair to me, as some players had three opponents, others four. I would opt for a direct comparison between the players in question, and if they played 1-1, for shared first/second/third places. I can do without a clear winner. Otherwise additional games seem more fair to me.

 

C: I apologize for starting nearly every sentence with "I".
