Once upon a time, a very similar feature was suggested.  Everybody
agreed that it was a good idea and a move syntax was designed, with
the possibility of giving moves for several possible opponent moves,
including the "anything else" move, for several moves ahead.

A help file was written, under the name "ifmoves".  Many years passed
where nothing happened. (Well, lots and lots of things happened, but
not related to this idea)

At some point the help file quietly disappeared.

It would be nice if Richard or somebody else in the know will tell the
insider view of this story.
