Dog shows really can be confusing for a first time visitor.  The worst thing
about unbenched shows is that the only people who know when the Pyrs will be
in the ring are those that are entered and have received the judging program
in advance.  The next time you see a dog show advertised, call the number
given for info and ask what time and what ring the Pyrs will be shown.  If
you call during the week before the show they can also tell you how many
Pyrs will be there.

Size of Pyrs vary a lot and is mostly hereditary.  The males are usually
quite a bit bigger than the females. Maybe the ones you saw were all
females.  Sounds like you have a big boy.
