[PyrNet-L] Neat Online Translation Utility

I ran across this yesterday, and it's pretty neat. If you have text to
translate, or run across a non-English web page that you don't understand,
then you can turn to

http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/cgi-bin/translate? (which can be
accessed as a link (it is a graphic) from http://www.altavista.digital.com/

You can either enter plain text (so copy and paste), or enter the URL for a
web site, and select a translation (English to French, German, Italian,
Portuguese or Spanish, or those to English), and hit the Translate button.
A short while later, you get the translated text/page in your browser
window.

It's not foolproof...if there are terms it can't understand (I did this with
a German dog page, so that are dog-related terms that aren't in the
dictionary it uses), then it leaves them. But you can usually get the gist
of what's meant.

Give it a shot!
