The Pyrenean Mastiff is the Spanish version of the white live stock 
guardian as the Great Pyr is the French version,  
the Marimma is the Italian version, Kuvaz the Hungarian version, etc.

It is more massive and allowed to have full black in its markings.  It is 
a distinct breed, and French Pyr folk take great pains to insure their 
stock is not mixed with Pyrenean Mastiffs.
