This made me smile when you mentioned goldens.... Most golden people 
feel that a goldens should NEVER show any type of agression...even if 
their master is being attacked or the dogs themselves are being 
attacked.
It has been a long standing argument....one wether not it is truly 
aggressive behavior or the simple desire for self preservation.
