[PyrNet-L] HEALTH,CARE: megaesophagus literature

During Seb's illness, I have had a great deal of trouble locating
information about megaesophagus. Today I did another web search, and found
the first detailed account of this ailment and management strategies for
affected dogs. The disease gets only a few lines in places like Mercks.

This very long article is written by a non-veterinarian (clearly a
determined layman, his dog survived the disease 3 years) who advises
everyone with affected dogs to work with their veterinarian but has
collected invaluable information. It is called "Owner's Guide To
Megaesophagus." This condition is the "disease of the month" on "Canine
Info Features" which advises, "This month learn about the serious life
threatening condition Megaesophagus, the devastating disease that appears
most frequently in dogs age eight to ten...." The location is:

I know this is an uncommon disease in Pyrs but thought some people might
want to store this information for possible future use, as it may not stay
on the web site for long.
