No difficulty implied! My comments are based strictly on layman
knowledge of neutering.  I do agree with the procedure, definately, for
all animals.  I am a very strong advocate, I didn't mean to imply
otherwise. It is sad that local humane societies could not trust
adopters to honor the contract of mandatory neutering at six months of
age.  Sad that small puppies have to go through surgery because people
are irresponsible.  I have not read anything about neutering of small
puppies, the procedure, safety, long term effects etc. etc. and I was
just not aware it was being done.  Hence my surprise, and then sadness
that it is necessary because of humans. That's all.
