All of our Pyrs are micro-chipped. We also micro-chip the puppies before they leave the kennel. That way I also have a copy of their number on my records. It doesn't seem to hurt the dogs. I've only had one bleed and that chipping was done just before we went into the Group ring at a dog show. Natch! We've been chipping for about 3 years now. Ruth
