Certainly I am not suggesting that ALL breeders know their stuff. However I
do believe that dedicated breeders that have reserched and studied their
lines  would give the best advice to the new puppy owner. I for one have had
the good fortune to have a mentor that has been breeding Great Pyrenees for
over 35 years. While I'm not saying breeders know everything, IMO a
dedicated one is qualified to give good advice about the pups they breed.
