RE: [PyrNet-L] Chat: Do big pups have a clue how big they are?

Now you can understand when some others say they have a "shape-shifter"
in
their midst and what it means for them to sneak out of the tinest holes
to
freedom.
Mary, boy are you right on the money with that comment. Our Nikki who
is 13 months old and weighs in at 70 lbs. has decided that her crate is
not the place to be. She was in a wire crate and watched how we closed
it and latched it. She started opening the crate.
When we put clips on it to stop her from being able to lift the latch,
she pryed away at the wires bending them back to form a nice hole about
7-8 inches in diameter. I thought she would put her head through and
get stuck...not this girl. She made some odd contortions and was
standing in front of me "grinning".
Now we have her in a Furrarri. This one seems less objectionable so
we'll see where "Houndini" wiggles her way out of next.
Fortunately the yard has been pyr and pyr shep proofed so I'm not
concerned about her leaving the yard.
