Be careful about recommending PETA to people. Although I have great
sympathy for much of what they do, we would all be targets of their wrath
because we keep dogs as pets. A couple of years ago, at the Bay Colony
Cluster dog shows, they threatened to come through and "liberate" dogs
from vans, pens, etc.--yes, right onto the busy highways that abut the
expo center grounds.
