Kind of interesting as I've just finished a new book I ran across 
some numbers in it from a 1985 study on why dogs are euthanized 
that the numbers for barking is 15%, which seems to me high, 
though the percentages did include dogs that exhibited more than 
one undesirable trait.  

BTW, for those into training and communicating with your pyr  
think you will find the 2 books I just finished good ones:
