You might also want to consider some massage. Sometimes a pinched nerve is the result of an injury to a muscle (by example a strain), not the vertebral column. The muscle heals, but "stays" in the wounded position. This causes pressure on the nerve. Massaging the surrounding area may relax the muscles into their proper position.
