When the dogs get a case of diarrhea, I give them some kaopectate
(original flavor) and follow up at mealtime with a bowl of cooked white
rice and bland boiled chicken.  They love that.  Gradually, you can add
increasing amounts of their regular dog food to that diet until they are
back to normal.
