Isn't that a darm sham for the breed. I agree with both Barb & Karen on
this - I have seen people say they won't breed to a certain dog because the
head type isn't good - but will breed to a dog with known health problems.
I am all for type - but would and will in the future choose the healthier
dog. You can bring type back in but the health problems are alot harder to
get out. Let us not forget the heartbroken puppy buyers who end up with an
ill dog.

Maybe I am naive but I love this breed and couldn't respect or live with
myself knowingly making the wrong decision. You can breed to a good
dog/bitch and still come up with problems but why would you want to bring in
problems that can devaste your program & homes of your puppy buyers. Is
winning and the almighty dollar that important?
Pyrs have enough problems with the backyard breeders & puppymills, I can
only hope that breeders will be honest with themselves and those inquiring
about using their dogs for stud. Yeah I guess I am naive, but I have hope.
