OK, we'll try this again - the laptop hit to send key before I was 
ready....sorry.
Let me start this again:
Have you tried crating Bear and letting Mischief out.  This way, they can 
both get to know each other through the bars of the crate, with out the fear 
of having Mischief chased.  We have been working with this with one of pyrs 
and our indoor cats.  Baron gets along fine with one of our indoor cats, 
Tippie, but will chase the other two.  By having him in the crate, they can 
come up, smell him and he can get to know them, without the mad chase around 
the house.
