Barb, Yes, that is the way the "Fund For Animal Clinic" does them too! 
Seems to do a super nice job on them, and I thought the healing went very
well!  I wish they would have done that to my leg last year when I had to
have it stitched up.... ouch those stitches hurt, then itched!  Cindy.
