panosteitous- I am not sure if that is spelled correctly. We see it quite a 
bit at the clinic in the larger breeds. I went through this with my male pyr. 
He outgrew it at about 11 mos of age, but we had about 3 bouts with it. It 
would happen whenever he would have a growth spurt. 

As far as bear and the Lux patella- I would see an orthopedic specialist on 
this one. I imagine they would want to try and wait to so surgery since Bear 
is till growing. But I would definantly get the opinion of the specialist.
