Well, we don't have chain link, but we do have 4' cattle wire fencing around
our pasture. We also have 4' board and anti-climb wire fence around our
house. Unfortunately, 4' is NOTHING for our Baron. He basically does the
"Fuseberry Flop" over it, just like high jumpers perform. Yesterday I had
him out while I was working in the back yard. I watched him, size up the
fence, take a few steps back from it and then have the nerve to glance over
his should at me with a look on his face like - "if I'm quick about this, she
won't see me". Well, at that point, I yelled "Baron, don't even think about
doing that!" He immediately turned around and nonchalantly walked away as if
he Never had any thought of going over the fence. For him, unfortunately, we
have to be on constant lookout, or keep him in the run or house, otherwise
he'd be out patrolling our property and all of our neighbor's as well. BTW -
our newer fencing is anti-climb wire up to 5', and he hasn't tried that
height yet.
