[PyrNet-L] People are sick (rescue)

Hello All,

Bear with me this story has some twists. We are going tomorrow to meet Zeek.
Apparently he was found by these people when he was 5 months old. 
This lady is sick... She wants to make sure he goes to a good home. I just got
off the phone with this lady. Hah! I use that term very lightly!

Anyway she is renting her old house and the dog went with it till they could
find a home. She thinks he has gotten down to about 90 pounds and  is looking
rather thin and his coat is in bad bad shape. The people who live there now
just give him food and water and he stays outside. These people do not want
the dog yet they have accumulated 4 other dogs a Doberman, a mutt and I don't
remember what the other two were.... Well she told me the dog needs to be
checked by the vet as well because he has not been checked by the vet since he
was 5 months old... No heartworm medication....no rabies shots..... NADA!!!!! 
She actually told me he has been neglected.... But she wanted to be sure she
met me to make sure I would be a good owner of the dog... I had to bite n\my
tounge and yes mam no mam etc... I was so nice and the whole time I wanted to
rip her head off... She told me she would be leaving out of town friday so if
I was interested I would have to go out there tomorrow or wait till tuesday.

If I knew she wouldn't mind I would be there tonight! I said in my last post I
didn't think I would sleep tonight because I was so excited.. Now I don't
think I will sleep tonight cause I am worried about Zeek. I will contain
myself to say what I really want to about this lady. I asked how old he was
well a year and a half is unknown she said they got him when he was 5 months
old and have no idea how long they have had him.... How can this be?!?!?!?!? I
cannot beleive my own ears...And she wants to make sure I will make a good
owner for Zeek. She told me they named him that out of the Bible... God Bless
them!!!!!!!!
