Robyn, we  were sorry to hear about you having to put your gelding down. 
Had that a few years ago with our 27 year old gelding, and it was so
difficult.  He had been the best baby sitter a parent could ever have
had, and taught us all so much.  When you have one in the family for so
long it is a very difficult moment to have to deal with.  We sympathize
