Gypsy was pretty hesitant about leash training in the beginning. Would plop herself down and not move as long as that "thing" was attached. She loved to romp with my teenage son, however, so with his help we put a leash on her and romped around the front yard for a little while. She quickly got the idea. Good luck! Jeanne
