    I phoned the shelter and found out the following information, The Pyr is a spayed bitch called Matty. She is an all white and chases birds. The people could not keep her as all the neighbors have birds. That the excuse they gave the shelter. She is suppose to be good with children. She is not registered and the shelter believes she comes from a breeder (???) in the area. I don't know who you could contact unless you tried Sharon Armstong  , Sandra Horton  or Susan Price. They may have someone in the area. I may be able to get you a name for someone in Castlegar BC. I don't have any contact any closer who could help and I'm a 3 day drive from there is weather is good. I hope I have been able to help
