Jack I too cook the eggs for our dogs, but not for the Salmonella.
Although I agree if you are buying eggs from the store it is the safest
thing to do. We have chickens, so the eggs are really fresh, and I know
how they are handled, nest to fridge in the matter of hours. After
watching the programs as of late on eggs from the supermarket, where 90
to 120 days is not unusual, and poor temp. controls as they are being
moved and stored, I think you absolutely have to cook to be safe. Cindy.
