[PyrNet-L] My Pyr prefers Caress, how about yours?
Folks,
The last set of messages has been so serious that I
thought I'd lighten the mood a little... Life is far more serious right
now of me than I care to have to deal with without finding ways to see the more
humorous sides of life.
Bonnie, since the day she came to live here, loves
to get into the bathtubs. Generally every day she'll climb into at least
one of the tubs and spend a few minutes clawing and barking at the
drain. I don't have a clue why she does this. She's not crazy about
getting a bath until I start rubbing her belly, then she's putty in my hands
until we're done.
The other thing she does (when she can get into my
bedroom bath) is eat my bath soap. She definitely has a preference for
Caress soap, but if there is none available, she'll go for the Irish Spring
soap. This hasn't seemed to hurt her but it sure makes her breath smell
good for a while. I would have thought it would make her feel ill, or at
least give her some runny bowel movements. Thankfully not. Usually
she'll stop after about half a bar, but sometimes she leaves no evidence she's
been there except I no longer have any soap when I get into the
shower!
Anybody else's Pyr eat your soap? Should I
worry about this behavior? Are there any ingredients (or soaps) I should
avoid, so Bonnie doesn't eat something that will make her ill?
