I am sure all have heard by now of the passing of Charles Schultz, the alter 
ego of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang.

My favorite strip was the classic:

Linus, holding his blanket, 
"You know Charlie Brown, you win some and you lose some."
Charlie Brown replying  with his bewildered wide eyes,
"Boy, that would be nice."

We missed Charles Schultz when he recently announced his retirement, now we 
are saddened by his death.  He takes all our little friends with him, 
including one of our favorite dogs, the scourge of the Red Baron.
