I don't feed food with beet pulp because it hardens the stool but
it has nothing to do with turning Pyrs "pink"! Beet pulp is a
filler and absorbs excess moisture out of the digestive tract
thereby hardening the stool. Bo tends to have very hard stools
anyway and has become constipated when on foods containing beet
pulp. I'd say the "turning pink" thing is nothing more than urban
legend, so to speak. :-)
