[PyrNet-L] CHAT : NEED INFO ON TRANSPORTING DOG TO AUSTRALIA

A friend of mine is looking into a temporary assignment down in Perth, 
Australia. She has 2 dogs and was curious about bringing them with her. She 
is currently located in CT, USA.

    Is there a quarantine period? How long is it?
    Would she be able to see the dogs while on the plane?
    Can they both stay in one crate? 
    Would she be able to walk the dogs during layovers? I assume there are no 
direct flights.
    
Any information would be much appreciated.
