Speaking of butter, I was about to make some cookies when I had to leave
the room briefly.  When I returned a cube of butter, wrapping included,
was missing.  It couldn't have been my sweet doberman because she was
sleeping in the same place as when I left the room.  When I said "when I
found out who took that butter they're going to get it!" she opened one
eye and burped.  I don't think a burp would have held up in court as
evidence so she was home free.
