Re: [pyrnet] Curious

Charlotte, while the nasty letters are unfortunate, and uncalled for,
when asked to go off the list, I would assume that it ceases to be part
of the list. And no folks, I didn't write off the list!

Maybe we need some kind of a time check ,of hot button issues, so that
this doesn't go on and on, and build momentum. I'm not sure how that
would work because I know people don't always read their mail everyday,
but?

If you start arbitrarily throwing people off, how are you going to do it
beyond what is already provided for in
" how to behave on the list? " At some point it could become a
popularity contest of sorts.

As for being respectful of others, there is certainly enough disrespect
to go around on every ones part. Certainly throwing Paganism into a dog
list is foolish and sure to incite. How is anyone supposed to take that
seriously
( and would you honestly even want them to? ), and frankly that could be
construed as being disrespectful of yet another religion. Certainly
should not have come on to the list at all. Even my daughter read that
comment and went off laughing. We thought it was meant to lighten the
mood, after all it isn't really slamable, it is someone's belief!

I agree, this is a good list, and some great people. But honestly no one
is going agree all of the time, and whining like kids isn't going to
help.

I'm off for an eye exam, will check in to see what suggestion come in
later! :-) Cindy
