Better rethink this.  It can be a problem with this many puppies.  It should 
be high on your concern list now.

Did someone, hopefully your vet tell you that you should put very warm 
compresses on the teats that have mastitis and then gently massage the "puss" 
out of them.  This will help greatly the fight against the infection by the 
antibiotics.  Needs doing every few hours for at a least until the Teats are 
not hard and lumpy.  By now (after doing this for a couple days) you are an 
expert on what is hard mastitis and just full milk.  Also the discharge out 
of the infected teats are off white to a yellow color.  Milk is white, and 
the texture of the puss is much different from the milk.  Easy to discover.  
You have to assume that once a bitch has Mastitis they will again.  
Sometimes, thank goodness it does not happen, but more times than not it 
will.  I don't think I would breed a bitch that had two occurrences of 
mastitis.  Just my opinion.
