[pyrnet] old time feeding (Vegemite)

what is Vegemite Elaine?? Why Vegemite (and Marmite) are the things Aussies
and Kiwis were (are) brought up on. When they go overseas they take jars of
it with them. I've just got a jar in front of me to give you a description
with the help of the magnifying glass. Ingredients are yeast extract, salt,
malt extract, vegetable flavours and vitamins niacin, thiamine and
riboflavin. Vegemite is a dark brown "spread" for toast, sandwiches,
flavouring or stews and casseroles but in my opinion best smeared thickly on
a thick, crusty, well buttered piece of fresh bread!! The dogs just love
vegemite on their toast and if you have a picky eater you can make a gravy
with vegemite to put on their food. Some people prefer marmite and some
vegemite, me I'll eat both. As a child I was known as the "Marmite kid".
Pico would love Vegemite on his toast too!!
