And don't get the black and white newfoundland confused with the 
breed the ECT Landseer.  Probably the breed Landseer was 
developed by breeding great pyrenees to the newfoundland.  But 
the ECT Landseer is not a newfoundland.  They have a non-newf 
temperament and are almost all white with very little black spotting 
and a slighter frame.
