Re: [pyrnet] seizure question
Seizures are an ever growing problem in the breed that no one wants to talk
about much. It is genetic and runs in lines. There are always exceptions,
but one must assume it is genetic. Everyone wants to believe they are the
exception. They can range from severe as has been described here to just a
very short, couple seconds, disorientation that one might not notice. If it
happens often and one knew no better one would think it just some quirk in
the dog.
There is a lot of misinformation about the problem available from many
sources. If you were ever aware of a dog having a seizure you should expect
more and associated vet and medicine bills to go with it.
Take you dog to the vet and follow their advice and treatment protocol.
